For a long time, the industry told us that a nursing license meant being at the bedside forever. I am here to prove that my Wi-Fi says otherwise. My transition to remote work was not an immediate success. It took me over a year of constant resume updates, developing new skills, and facing numerous rejections before I secured my first remote nursing role. This experience taught me that the secret to success is to start before you are ready and to begin the application process while you are still in your current position. I believe you should not wait until you are desperate for a change to start chasing the role you deserve. 

 Today, remote nursing allows me to enjoy a lifestyle defined by flexibility and efficient multitasking. Whether I am working from my favorite spot in bed, catching up on tasks at the hair salon, or watching my daughter practice at the pool for the 2035 Olympics, my laptop comes along for the journey.
